Role Overview
As a Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for developing new features, enhancing existing applications, and supporting software solutions throughout the development lifecycle. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, participate in code reviews, perform development and unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to software engineering best practices. You will also contribute to cloud-based application development and deployment initiatives.
About the role as Software Engineer I :
- Develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Microservices, and React.js/Angular.js.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and project discussions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.
- Write, execute, and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Conduct developer testing to validate functionality and identify defects before QA testing.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and production defects.
- Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to defect prevention initiatives.
- Develop and support applications deployed on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and support automated build and deployment pipelines.
- Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Support production systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in software development.
- Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Microservices Architecture, and React.js or Angular.js.
- Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, Git, and Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
