## Your Responsibilities

As a Prodcut Engineer for John Deere Commerical Mowing located in Fuquay Varina, NC, you will:

• Be part of a dynamic and energetic team developing Commercial Mowing products
• Work within a global cross-functional team to define specifications and develop solutions to complicated problems to improve cost, quality and/or performance on future and current product projects

## What Skills You Need

• 1 or more years of product engineering experience in off road equipment or automotive
• 1 or more years of CAD (PTC Creo or equivalent) and GD&T application
• Experience with product development and knowledge of the overall process (design, analysis, test, mfg., sourcing)
• Experience collecting requirements from stakeholders and making data driven decisions
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate within a cross functional team across multiple sites and drive results
• Ability to lead and execute sub-system level design projects

## What Makes You Standout

• Master’s degree in engineering
• Experience with at least 1 (vehicle level) new product development cycle
• Experience implementing cost and warranty focused initiatives and utilizing root cause analysis
• Experience modeling complex parts and surface modeling in CAD
• A track record of innovation
• Professional/commercial mowing industry experience
• Experience working with PDM, SAP and other enterprise systems
• Demonstrated leadership and people skills

## Education

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Agricultural, Electrical). Others may apply.
