Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform testing, inspections, and quality checks on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional testing using precision measuring instruments and testing equipment.
• Verify products meet customer specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records in accordance with company procedures.
• Identify, report, and document nonconforming materials or products.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
• Monitor production processes to ensure consistent product quality.
• Review production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment as required.
• Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, maintenance, and management to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) where applicable, and quality management systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience

• One to three years of quality control or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with inspection tools and quality systems is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and statistical process control (SPC) is preferred.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring tapes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and quality management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity required to operate testing and measuring equipment.
• Ability to distinguish colors, identify defects, and perform detailed visual inspections.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and occasionally climb as needed.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, or production environment.
• Exposure to machinery, noise, varying temperatures, dust, and industrial equipment.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
• May require overtime, weekend work, or shift work based on production schedules.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $23 per hour.
