About Your Next Opportunity
HTC is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Visual/UI Designer to join the Creative Labs team at our Xindian, New Taipei City office. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual identities and user interfaces that reflect the HTC and VIVE brand across a wide range of digital and print platforms. You will collaborate closely with in-house designers to ensure that every visual touchpoint is consistent, purposeful, and forward-looking.
This is a full-time, individual contributor role suited for a creative professional with at least 2 years of experience in graphic design and digital art. You will translate brand strategy into visual frameworks, produce assets for diverse formats and platforms, and contribute to design systems that elevate both usability and brand integrity. A strong portfolio demonstrating your problem-solving approach and design contributions is required for consideration.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop original graphics, layouts, and typography-driven designs that reflect unique and on-brand visual concepts
- Translate brand principles, themes, and moods into strategic visual frameworks and expressions
- Produce design assets across a variety of formats and platforms including logos, brand identities, websites, social media content, infographics, and presentation templates
- Design brand merchandise and coordinate with vendors throughout the production process, applying basic print production knowledge
- Design and implement visually compelling user interfaces across multiple platforms
- Create high-quality UI layouts, components, and design systems that enhance usability and maintain brand consistency
- Define and document design guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across all products and touchpoints
- Work closely with in-house designers in alignment with HTC and VIVE brand core values
- Present design concepts clearly and incorporate feedback constructively throughout the design process
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities)
- Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Design, Commercial Art, Graphic Design, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design and digital art
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic and visual design work
- Proficiency in Figma for UI design, prototyping, and design system management
- Comfort using AI-assisted design tools as part of a modern creative workflow
- Solid foundation in typography, layout design, and visual composition
- Basic knowledge of print production processes and requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to pixel-level precision
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, remaining flexible and open during design discussions and presentations
- A strong interest in design trends, emerging technology, and the future of brand experience
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your problem-solving approach and design contributions
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Abilities)
- Experience in photography, video editing, motion graphics, or illustration as an additional design specialty
- Background in UX design or user research to complement visual and UI design work
- Familiarity with brand identity systems and multi-platform campaign design
- Experience collaborating with external vendors on merchandise or print production projects
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain scalable design systems across product lines
