SUMMARY

Greet, welcome and direct guests; provide administrative support to location. Maintains ongoing relationships with members in support of the club’s goals to achieve overall Membership growth.

Essential Functions:

Greet, welcome and direct guests; provide administrative support to location. Answer telephone and route calls to appropriate person/department. Greet and director vendors to appropriate person/department. Receive and sort mail, package deliveries, etc. Answers/forwards guest requests, complaints or questions in a courteous and timely manner. Partnering with Events Manager to build and facilitate the Club’s Lifestyle Programming & Social offerings, including working with department heads to complete and implement one unified lifestyle calendar for Members & Guests.   Responsible for facilitating the development and execution of a Member communication plan such as, but not limited to, answering the telephone and route calls to appropriate person/department, greeting, welcome and directing guests, weekly e-blasts, monthly calendars, website updates, social media, club event displays, flyers, posters, cart signs and banners. Assist other office staff during periods of absence and down time. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training preferred.  Successful track record of prioritizing and multitasking; and thriving in a fast paced environment.   

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
