Job Summary
Clark County District Court proudly serves our community through a range of Therapeutic Specialty Court (TSC) programs, including Veterans Therapeutic Court, Treatment Alternative Court, DUI Court, Mental Health Court, and Community Court. Each program is dedicated to helping participants rebuild stability, strengthen life skills, increase self sufficiency, reduce cycles of addiction and criminal behavior, and support the restoration and reunification of families. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to participant outcomes, enhance collaborative efforts with justice and treatment partners, and support program innovation and development.
This is a project position currently funded through June 30, 2027, with the anticipation that funding may be extended.

Education and Professional Background
• A job‑related Bachelor’s degree is desired, supported by relevant experience and specialized training.
• Any combination of training, experience, and transferable skills that provides the necessary knowledge and abilities to succeed will be considered.
Selection Process:

Application Review (Pass/ Fail) - An online application is required. Resume and Cover Letter are required. In the cover letter we would like candidates to address how their previous education and experience would make them a successful candidate for this assignment.
Practical Exam (Pass/Fail) - This recruitment may require a practical exam which will be job related and may include, but not limited to, the qualifications outlined in the job announcement. Candidates deemed most qualified will be invited to participate in the remainder of the selection process.
Oral Interview - The interview will be job related and may include, not limited to, the qualifications outlined in the job announcement. Top candidate(s) will continue in the process.
Employment references will be conducted for the final candidates and may include verification of education.
It is general policy of the County that new employees should be hired at the lower steps of the applicable range and advance through the range at the normal progression.
Examples of Duties
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Prepare clear and accurate reports on program performance, participant demographics, service utilization, and emerging needs; support ongoing evaluation efforts to ensure program quality and effectiveness.
• Gather, organize, and analyze data related to participant progress, team performance, and program outcomes, using this information to inform improvements and meet reporting or grant requirements.
• Provide staff, partners, and stakeholders with information on evidence‑based and best‑practice standards in therapeutic specialty courts, ensuring alignment with national and statewide guidelines.
• Develop and maintain internal and external communication regarding program processes, procedures, updates, and changes to support operational consistency.
• Coordinate, organize, and facilitate meetings, staffing meetings, and court reviews; prepare agendas, materials, and follow‑up documentation to support effective team collaboration.
• Assist in developing and refining policies, workflows, and program objectives that enhance the participant experience and align with therapeutic court principles.
• Serve as a liaison between the court, treatment providers, probation, attorneys, and community partners to support collaborative, participant‑centered case management.
• Monitor participant compliance and progress, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates to case files and program databases.
• Coordinate participant access to services, resources, incentives, sanctions and service adjustments in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for trainings, community outreach efforts, and special projects related to program growth and improvement.
• Identify operational challenges and recommend solutions that promote efficiency, consistency, and alignment with therapeutic court values.
• Other duties individually assigned by Manager.

Retirement Information
All Clark County employees must participate in a WASHINGTON STATE RETIREMENT SYSTEM PLAN (PERS, PSERS or LEOFF).Employee contributions begin the first day of work. Current contribution rates vary by plan but could range from 5% to 15% of gross pay, depending on the plan choice.
