Serving as a lead financial support and key member of the Finance team, responsible for the daily functions of finance and decision support, including but not limited to labor management, capital planning and tracking, month-end and quarterly close analysis and reporting, financial and profitability reporting, annual budgeting, and forecasting. Providing a high level of expertise and financial acumen, assists Facility leadership and System Finance Leaders with fiscal education and research of operating activities. Provides analytical support to operational management. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Bachelor Degree, required
- Master Degree or equivalent education and experience, required
- MBA, preferred
- 10 years' experience Finance, Accounting, or Decision Support, required. Strong preference for healthcare experience.
- 5 years in a Leadership position, required
- Extensive experience partnering with executive business leaders and providing a holistic view of business strategy, processes and financial objectives, board level experience a plus
- Excellent communication and managerial abilities with the ability to present complex information to a wide array of audiences with different levels of financial understanding
- Strong aptitude and proven experience in working with all levels of management
- In-depth operational understanding of revenue cycle operations and/or payor community a must
- Ability to be entrepreneurial; always searching for creative and innovative solutions
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, pivot table, report building skills
- Experience with Oracle Financials or comparable planning technologies required
- Proven ability to perform complex financial analysis, modeling and reporting
- Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- In-depth expertise of healthcare financial models and key operational indicators
