A Brief Overview
The Construction Manager will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization by leading facility construction projects for Safelite locations across the United States. S/he will execute projects in accordance with Safelite's construction processes and will use superior people skills to deliver excellent service to all stakeholders.
What you will do
Manages outsourced Project Managers in the delivery of multiple construction projects and project scopes across our field and office locations.
Oversee construction bidding, contracting, and project delivery processes to ensure that quality work is delivered on time and within budget
Partners with Safelite field leadership and internal/external project consultants to provide best in class results.
Utilizes a mix of travel and technology on each project to monitor construction progress, assure quality, verify compliance, and maintain vendor accountability.
Reviews and approves all project materials including CD's and signage drawings, manages bidding and permitting processes, and oversees field installations.
Performs other duties as assigned

What you will need
Bachelor's Degree in construction management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Required
4-6 years experience in a construction management role Required
Familiar with construction practices, costs, and running bids
Comfortable with directly managing projects
Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to drive results in a positive manner

Expected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Safelite Home Office (7400 Safelite Way, Columbus, OH 43235). You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs. #LI-Onsite #LI-MH1
