Key responsibilities
Internal communications
- Develop and manage Alvotech's internal communications strategy and editorial calendar
- Plan and deliver timely, engaging communications that support business priorities
- Manage internal communication channels including Alvocado, digital signage, email communications and employee announcements
- Write and edit high-quality communications for employees across all global locations
- Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, engaging and aligned with Alvotech's corporate messaging and brand
- Coordinate communications around organisational announcements, business milestones and employee initiatives
Intranet and digital channels
- Own the day-to-day management and continuous development of Alvocado
- Maintain the relevance and quality of content across the platform
- Manage and develop key sections including:
- AlvoNews
- AlvoCulture
- AlvoSocial
- AlvoClubs
- Employee resources
- Develop an editorial plan that balances corporate communications with employee-generated content
- Encourage contributions from employees across all Alvotech locations
- Monitor readership and engagement metrics and continuously improve content performance
Culture and employee engagement
Partner with People & Culture to strengthen employee engagement and embed
Alvotech's culture across the organisation
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the global Culture Champions communications
- Provide communications support and guidance for Culture Champions
- Promote participation in engagement activities across all locations
- Manage communications for initiatives including:
- Lunch & Learn
- Laboratory and Manufacturing Tours
- Virtual Coffee Series
- Quarterly Awards
- Alvo Experts
- Team engagement activities
- Culture Initiative Idea Box
- Employee recognition programmes
- Support employee engagement surveys and communication of resulting action plans
- Share best practice between global sites
- Develop campaigns that reinforce Alvotech's values and high-performance culture
Leadership communications
- Support senior leaders with internal announcements
- Prepare manager communication toolkits for key company announcements
- Support town halls and leadership events
- Help translate business strategy into clear employee communications
Content and storytelling
- Produce engaging written content for employees
- Capture photography and short-form video where it supports business communication objectives
- Tell stories that celebrate collaboration, ambition, agility and employee achievement
- Coordinate coverage of significant company events and leadership visits
- Ensure multimedia content supports strategic communication priorities
Employee engagement campaigns
Plan and deliver campaigns that encourage employee participation and strengthen company culture, including:
- Values campaigns
- Recognition programmes
- Learning initiatives
- Wellbeing campaigns
- Diversity and inclusion activities
- Volunteering and community initiatives
- Internal celebrations and milestones
Governance and continuous improvement
- Maintain editorial standards across all internal communications.
- Ensure appropriate approvals are in place for sensitive communications.
- Develop communication measurement and reporting
- Recommend improvements to channels and employee engagement
- Work collaboratively with Corporate Communications to ensure consistency between internal and external messaging.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Experience in internal communications, employee engagement or corporate communications
- Excellent written communication skills in English
- Strong stakeholder management
- Experience in managing digital communication platforms or intranets
- Experience in developing communication campaigns
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Strong judgement and attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience in supporting organisational change
- Experience in working with People & Culture teams
- Photography or basic video editing skills
- Experience in using SharePoint or similar intranet platforms
- Graphic design experience
