KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Researches and Analyses
- Regular monitoring of Chinese economy, society, policy, companies, and clientele
- Chinese outbound tourism research & forecast & trends
- Domestic market insights
- Ad-hoc researches according to Richemont Maisons’ requests
Business Support
- Internal support on Maison’s strategic & operational plannings
- Support Maison’s Chinese business development structure (HQ & Markets)
- Initiate internal discussions on Chinese market & clientele development with Maisons’ senior management teams
- Construct and implement operational action plans for Maisons’ priority markets
- Business partnership build-up through global partners’ identification, maintenance & development
- Optimize relationship and develop business with existing global business partners
- Identify new potential partners and local diaspora communities in key markets and develop collaboration between them and Richemont Maisons’ local teams
- Initiate partnerships with local specialized partners to further access to their HNWI Chinese network
- Projects initiation, implement and follow-up, to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between Maisons and business partners
YOUR PROFILE
- Master degree and plus in Economics/International Relations/Management
- 3-5 years of experience in economic analysis and/or business development
- Fluency in English and French is required, Chinese is mandatory
- Good knowledge of Chinese macro/micro economy as well as the luxury industry
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, impeccable analytical skills for editorial and research purposes
- Detail oriented in the implementation of business development projects
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to handle problematic issues and balance multiple interlocutors and projects
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
