T1 R&D Regional Functional Analyst - Recipe, Formulation and Raws Specification management

The role works effectively with various partners (Mars Digital Technologies, Regional R&D Systems Functional Experts, Segment Data Custodians) to support day to day operations of end users by driving quick response to system issues and managing incidents, ensuring robust system testing for any CIPs, bug resolution and new capabilities as well as managing documentation for testing protocols and scripts. This role also supports systems governance and data quality metrics via data analysis and reporting.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Key/End User support and Knowledge Management

• Providing ad-hoc support as a Second point of escalation on system issues to BU end users and first point of escalation to BU key users.
• Strong support for development and maintenance of key/end user training curriculum and training materials.
• Develops and maintains testing documentation (testing scenarios, scripts).
• Performance review of service level effectiveness (incident trends, SLAs) to drive continuous improvements.
• Partners with development team to support resolution of system issues/bugs.
• Drives rapid response to “Code Red” incidents and support technical teams by providing functional input into analysis, solutioning, testing and approval.

Governance (Business process and data quality)

• Supports regional FEs in process/ data quality compliance and root cause analysis of gaps with key users/end users.
• Performs data analysis of Traceability issues or Regulatory queries as requested by Data Custodians.

Operational support and Change Management

• Incident management.
• Support Regional FE in CIP management, focusing on testing (SIT, coordination of UAT and End-to-end testing).
• Works closely with MDT (Mars Digital Technologies) team on impact assessment of system changes.
• Definition of business test case scenarios based on business requirements and their translation to the MDT development and testing teams.
• Provides input to Data council and Corporate R&D team on reporting improvements and data analysis tools.

New capability deployment

• Supports Functional Expert in deployment activities by executing data and process analysis.
• Manages deployment related development requests (VADS) and service tickets.
• Supports Key/end user training journey (defining curriculum, developing training materials, executing training sessions, supports hyper-care).

What are we looking for?

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in science or IT systems or equivalent in food safety/food science or related subject area is desirable
• At least 3 years of experience with R&D or Quality systems
• Excellent networker, easily builds rapport remotely
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Fluent in English
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Knowledge of the product development, familiar with raw material
