As the Continuous Quality Improvement Manager, you'll provide leadership and oversight for ASAC’s Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and compliance initiatives. Additionally, you'll partner with leaders across the organization to coordinate quality improvement, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and corrective action activities that support organizational performance.


  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the organization's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program, including the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor federal, state, local, accreditation, and funding source requirements. Communicate changes and coordinate organizational response to support ongoing compliance. 
  • Manage the organization's policy management system. Partner with departments to develop, review, and maintain policies and procedures that support regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Partner with department staff to coordinate accreditation activities, regulatory reviews, licensing visits, and compliance reviews. Ensure documentation and supporting evidence are audit ready. 
  • Conduct compliance assessments to identify areas of risk or process improvement. Develop and monitor corrective action plans to ensure issues are resolved and improvements are sustained.  
  • Coordinate the organization's critical incident review process. Ensure findings are documented, root cause analyses are completed, and improvement efforts are tracked.
  • Analyze quality, compliance, and operational data to identify trends, monitor performance, and support organizational decision making. 
  • Coordinate CQI meetings and workgroups. Track action items, quality indicators, and follow-up activities to promote data-driven decision making, accountability, and timely completion. 
  • Maintain quality and compliance documentation, including corrective action records, evidence files, and other materials that support organizational readiness. 
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on compliance standards to provide consultation and technical assistance to staff regarding quality improvement, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and compliance best practices. Identify training needs and collaborate on the development of compliance-related training and resources. 
  • Perform compliance-related work on behalf of ASAC Housing Corporation, including monitoring regulatory requirements, maintaining required documentation, and supporting housing compliance activities. 
  • Chair ASAC's Safety Committee.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in quality improvement, compliance, accreditation, healthcare administration, human services, or a related field required. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Equivalent      combination of education and experience may be considered. 
  • Knowledge of quality improvement principles, regulatory and accreditation standards, policy management, and compliance practices. 
  • Experience with CARF, behavioral health, substance use disorder services, nonprofit healthcare, licensing, or grant and funding requirements preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, project coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to interpret regulatory requirements, identify risk, and track action items.
  • Ability to analyze quality, compliance, and operational data, identify trends, and support continuous quality improvement and organizational decision making.
  • Proficiency with standard office equipment, Microsoft Office, computer systems, and other workplace technology. Ability to learn policy management, electronic health record (EHR), reporting, and compliance tracking systems.
