You’re naturally curious, eager to improve processes and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Your strong communication skills, customer-focused mindset and commitment to accuracy help drive better business outcomes.
As a Financial Systems and Processes Technician, you'll create, maintain and monitor finance master data and vendor records within SAP S/4 Finance and other financial systems. You'll play an important role in preserving data quality, supporting financial processes and enabling accurate reporting across the organization.
You’ll be part of the team that manages financial systems, master data governance and process compliance while collaborating with Finance, Procurement, IT and business partners across FCC.
If you enjoy learning new systems, improving processes and delivering exceptional service to internal partners, this could be the role for you.
What you'll do
Create and maintain vendor records, including supplier and employee vendors, within SAP S/4 Finance while ensuring data accuracy and completeness
Create, update and maintain finance master data such as cost centres, profit centres, GL accounts, internal orders, bank accounts and reporting hierarchies
Perform quality control reviews on financial master data, analyze control reports and identify opportunities to improve data quality
Provide guidance and support to internal and external partners regarding vendor and master data processes
Troubleshoot issues related to missing, incomplete or inaccurate data and work with partners to resolve them
Manage requests for SAP S/4 security role changes and user access while supporting quarterly access reviews and compliance activities
Assist with testing, documenting and supporting system enhancements, upgrades and production incidents
Prepare and maintain business process documentation, procedures and training materials
Support compliance activities related to financial authorities, policies and processes, including annual reviews and reporting
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the effectiveness of finance master data management
What you'll bring to the team
Required Qualifications
A degree or diploma in business, commerce, administration or a related field, and at least three years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, procure-to-pay processes and financial reporting
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proven organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend practical solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with SAP S/4 Finance
Experience supporting financial systems, data governance or master data management
Experience with access management, security reviews or compliance-related activities
Experience supporting enterprise users in a finance or shared services environment
