Description
Exempt; full-time; 40 hours per week (varied workdays and hours within FCPL operating schedule); full benefits; subject to system wide reassignment
This supervisory-level position oversees the daily delivery of circulation services at a library branch, ensuring consistent, efficient, and customer-centered operations. The Circulation Services Supervisor I hires, trains, schedules, and provides performance feedback to circulation staff, maintaining high service standards and resolving routine patron issues using established procedures. Work at this level involves managing moderately complex circulation functions, supporting branch initiatives, and contributing to system-wide work teams without leading system-wide efforts. The position exercises independent judgment in staff scheduling and customer service resolution, and recommends—rather than establishes—policy or procedural changes, with decisions typically reviewed by higher-level leadership. Supervision is received from the Branch Administrator.
