Description
Application Support Lead (Data Engineering)
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Azure services, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge or experience in other Azure services, such as Azure Logic Apps and Azure Function Apps, will be highly advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience and expertise in data engineering.
• We are looking for a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join the team at a leading insurance company.
• Provide support and maintenance for data platform hosted on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Offer Level 1 to 3 support, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, and resolution of technical issues.
• Monitor application performance on Azure and proactively resolve any issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Collaborate closely with offshore teams to provide incident support and perform root cause analysis.
• Communicate effectively with offshore teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure clear and timely information exchange.
• Contribute to the development of technical solutions based on business requirements, utilizing Azure services.
• Implement enhancements to optimize application functionality on the Azure platform.
• Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications related to Azure services.
