Responsibilities
- Providing first-line technical support to customers and internal employees.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Supporting sales and operations teams with technical advice to meet customer expectations.
- Participating in the out-of-hours support rota, including weekends.
- Delivering training sessions on new equipment, products, and updates.
- Developing technical support documents for internal and external use.
- Providing first-line IS Helpdesk support.
- Assisting with equipment checking, despatch, returns, and related tasks.
- Logging all customer interactions and technical queries for accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications
- A strong technical aptitude and a passion for technology.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role (preferred but not essential).
- A proactive and customer-focused mindset.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to participate in an out-of-hours support rota.
- Driver with own transport due to very infrequent trips to the data centre in Wakefield
