What You Will Do

• Work directly with customers to understand their problems and translate requirements into technical solutions

• Own features and product initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and scoping to implementation and launch

• Design, build, and scale backend systems that power AI-driven voice and communication products

• Collaborate closely with founders and cross-functional teams to shape product direction

• Identify ambiguous problems and proactively define solutions that drive business impact

• Lead technical projects, including defining scope, creating execution plans, and delivering outcomes

• Contribute to improving onboarding speed and product capabilities as customer demand grows

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2–5 years of production software engineering experience

• Strong backend engineering experience building scalable systems

• Demonstrated product mindset — ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions

• Experience working in high-growth, product-led environments (startup or similar)

• Ability to operate independently and thrive in ambiguous problem spaces

• Strong communication skills with experience interacting directly with customers or stakeholders

• Comfortable working onsite in San Francisco (4 days/week)
