Description
As a validation engineer we are responsible for the quality of our secure semiconductor microcontrollers, achieved through comprehensive measurements in our state of the art laboratory
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Develop validation & characterization tests for cutting edge microcontrollers
- Develop validation & characterization automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Execute (implement, run and interpret data) tests for System (SoC) Validation and embedded interface characterization to provide accurate results, along with detailed electrical data analysis reports
- Setup, maintenance and extension of automatic test benches for regression tests of 16 & 32-bit microcontroller platforms, ensuring efficient operation of lab activities
- Documentation of code, tests and measurement results according to the qualification process
- Attend meetings to ensure alignment with team objectives and milestones
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Automatic Control or a related field
- Several years of experience in embedded development, post silicon validation, test automation, firmware development
- Experience with embedded programming (e.g: embedded C) & embedded interface communication (e.g: SPI, I2C, I3C, UART, CAN)
- Experience with automation of measurements using scripting languages (e.g: Python)
- Experience with electronic laboratory equipment and automation (e.g: oscilloscope, multimeters, power supplies, PXI, VISA, SCPI)
- Experience with PCB design, schematics, layout tools (e.g: Altium Designer, OrCAD), board level debug and analysis (e.g: power profiles, oscilloscope measurements)
- Advanced level of English, both written and spoken
