Description
As the Facilities Manager, you'll oversee the maintenance, repair, and preventative care of agency buildings, grounds, equipment, and vehicles. You'll help ensure agency facilities remain safe, compliant, and operating efficiently while coordinating maintenance projects and vendor relationships.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and minor repair work.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all agency facilities.
- Prioritize and complete facility work orders in a timely manner.
- Coordinate outside contractors and oversee vendor services for repairs and maintenance projects.
- Monitor facility conditions and recommend repairs, improvements, and capital projects.
- Maintain electronic maintenance records and work order documentation.
- Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance and service appointments for agency vehicles.
- Assist with annual facilities planning and budgeting.
- Ensure facilities comply with safety, licensing, accreditation, and agency standards.
- Respond to facility emergencies and maintenance needs as they arise.

Requirements
What You Need to Succeed
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of five years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or a related field.
- Technical certification, trade school, or related licensure preferred.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, acceptable driving record, and proof of automobile insurance.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills to manage work orders and maintenance documentation.
