Overview
Launch your career with AtkinsRéalis and gain valuable experience supporting critical nuclear engineering projects. As an Intern Cost and Data Analyst, you will join the Resource Forecasting and Estimating team in Mississauga and contribute to data-driven decision-making through cost analysis, reporting, and resource planning activities. This opportunity offers hands-on exposure to business analytics, cost estimating, and project controls within a dynamic engineering environment.
Your role
- Support project staff in entering and maintaining resource demand data within resource management systems
- Prepare reports on staff availability and coordinate with Technical and Functional Managers to verify and update information
- Assist with the preparation of weekly reports using Excel and Power BI
- Analyze resource demand data to identify variances and support reporting on key trends and drivers
- Support cost analysts in the preparation of cost estimates and cost input data for projects and bids
- Prepare cost models for low-complexity and low-value bids
- Assist Business Analysts, Cost Analysts, and Management with ad hoc reporting and data analysis activities
About you
- Ability to work effectively with large volumes of numerical data and perform detailed analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Aptitude for data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving
- Proficiency with Power BI is an asset
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Engineering, Business, Economics, or Mathematics program
