Description
Location: Los Angeles, CA.
We are seeking an experienced PMHNP to provide exceptional care to adolescents in our residential behavioral health program. This role involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team to support patient care and treatment outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments
- Provide medication management and monitor effectiveness
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding treatment recommendations and progress
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and clinical staff
- Participate in treatment planning and clinical team meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements:
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active California license
- Ability to practice independently is preferred (or already have physician supervision in place, if required)
- Willingness to obtain additional licensure in Virginia and/or Minnesota is a plus
- Experience in residential, inpatient, or behavioral health settings preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
Compensation: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour.
Schedule: Flexible part-time schedule (15–20 hours per week). Opportunity for additional hours as the program continues to grow.
