This hybrid role offers the opportunity to develop technical expertise across customer-facing service, equipment maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and installations. • Supporting equipment installations, commissioning, and technical adjustments according to ZEISS specifications.
  • Diagnosing technical issues and identifying required parts, tools, and resources to support efficient repairs.
  • Carrying out equipment repairs, testing, maintenance, and refurbishment activities within the Customer Repair Centre.
  • Working closely with Customer Service, Scheduling, Parts, and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Recording service activities, technical findings, repairs, and resolutions accurately in CRM and service management systems.
  • Providing clear technical explanations and recommendations to customers regarding equipment condition, repairs, and maintenance requirements.
  • Supporting service documentation, reports, and follow-up activities related to customer visits and repair centre work.
  • Following ZEISS safety procedures, technical standards, and quality requirements during all activities.

Your Experience

  • Technical qualification or ongoing studies in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, electronics, or technical repairs.
  • Interest in developing a career within technical service, equipment maintenance, and customer support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a practical and hands-on approach.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and colleagues.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently in both field and workshop environments.
  • Willingness and availability to travel regularly for customer visits across São Paulo and Brazil.
  • Basic computer skills and confidence using digital systems for reporting and documentation.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Intermediate English skills

It would be desirable if you had:
  • Previous experience supporting medical, optical, industrial, laboratory, or precision equipment.
  • Experience with equipment repair, installation, calibration, or technical troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing technical service environment.

Your Benefits

If you join ZEISS, you will have access to a range of benefits, including:
