Freelance SAP EWM Consultant (German speaking)

Are you an experienced SAP EWM Consultant looking for your next S/4HANA transformation project? This is an opportunity to join a leading German IT Transformation Consultancy, representing the customer's interests throughout an SAP EWM rollout while working closely with senior stakeholders and the implementation partner.

Job Type: Contract
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Initial 6 months (extensions likely)
Location: Hybrid – 50% remote / 50% onsite in Germany (onsite presence may reduce after initial phase)
Utilisation: 3 days per week
Industry: Manufacturing
Languages: Fluent German essential, English beneficial

What you can expect

• YOU advise and support the client throughout the SAP EWM rollout as part of an S/4HANA implementation
• YOU lead requirements gathering and functional design for inbound and outbound warehouse processes
• YOU provide expert guidance on yard logistics and warehouse mobile device solutions
• YOU support the migration from SAP WM or non-SAP warehouse management systems to SAP EWM
• YOU collaborate with senior business stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful delivery
• YOU contribute to SAP PM integration

What you offer

• YOU have at least 8 years of SAP consulting experience, including multiple full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations
• YOU possess deep functional expertise across SAP EWM, including inbound, outbound, warehouse structures, and movement types
• YOU have experience replacing SAP WM or non-SAP WMS solutions with SAP EWM
• YOU are confident engaging with senior business stakeholders and C-level executives
• YOU have experience with warehouse mobile devices and handheld solutions
• YOU communicate fluently in German

Nice to have

• Experience integrating SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
• Knowledge of SAP EWM Material Flow System (MFS)
