Cherry Hill law firm with foreclosure and real estate focus is currently seeking an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our busy practice.

 

The Paralegal/ Legal assistant support employee will work closely with attorneys and will manage, foreclosure, real estate and litigation files for the firm. Responsibilities include assistance with drafting documents, coordination of transactions and handling foreclosure files.

What You'll Do

Primary Responsibilities:

• Handle drafting, preparation and filing of complaints and other pleadings. Serving of motions for multiple clients in the firm,
• Respond to client inquiries professionally and promptly to keep the client informed of the status of matters via e-mail and telephone.
• Maintain accurate records in both client systems interface and firm system of record.
• Other duties as required.

What You Bring

Experience:

• Previous experience with foreclosure and collection matters with specific regard to Pennsylvania or New Jersey is desired.
• Microsoft Office: 3 years (Preferred).
• Paralegals & Legal Assistants: 1 year (Required).

Skills & Qualifications:

• Successful completion of legal assistant or paralegal diploma or equivalent experience a plus.
• Skilled in the use of MS Office Suite of products, with particular emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Skilled in the use of case management software.
• Exceptional organizational skills including superior attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible and reliable.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required).

What We Offer

Job Type:

• Full-time.

Compensation:

• $42,000 - $50,000, commensurate with experience.
