Job title – Sweet Goods - Dairy Applications Intern

Location – Tuas, Singapore

Support the Sweet Goods Applications Team within the Taste (Flavor) Division, with a primary focus on Dairy Applications. The intern will gain hands-on experience in flavour application, product development, and prototype preparation, contributing to the development and evaluation of flavour solutions for dairy-based products.

Your key responsibilities

• Assist Sweet Goods Technologists in preparing and evaluating dairy application prototypes, including flavoured milk, yoghurt, frozen confectionery, milk powder-based applications, and plant-based/soy beverages

• Support ingredient preparation, sample management, and laboratory activities
• Gain hands-on exposure to pilot-scale equipment such as UHT processing systems, homogenisers, yoghurt, and frozen confectionery equipment
• Support product development projects by conducting basic experiments, documenting results, and maintaining accurate records
• Participate in sensory evaluation and tasting sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute ideas for flavor concepts based on project briefs and market trends
• Gain exposure to other Sweet Goods categories, including Bakery and Confectionery

You bring

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related discipline
• Interested in food, flavours, and product development
• Comfortable working in a hands-on laboratory and product development environment
• Good attention to detail, organized, and willing to learn
• Good teamwork and communication skills
