Join our Digital, Data and Technology team and help shape how content is governed, found and used across Anglian Water.
As Enterprise Content Lead, you’ll protect, improve and evolve our content platforms and advanced search and discovery capabilities, helping colleagues access trusted information efficiently and make better-informed decisions.
You’ll combine technical expertise with strategic thinking, data-led insight and strong stakeholder engagement to improve content quality, security, compliance and adoption across the organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Protect, improve and evolve Microsoft 365 content platforms, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, site structures, metadata, term stores, retention labels, permissions and governance.
- Establish and maintain governance processes that support content quality, accuracy, consistency, security and effective information lifecycle management.
- Lead the lifecycle management of SharePoint sites, site collections and OneDrive content, ensuring corporate information is retained and transferred appropriately.
- Use analytics and performance measures to identify trends, improve content management and support data-led decisions.
- Shape the strategic development of enterprise content, advanced search and discovery capabilities, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation and natural language processing.
- Provide expert knowledge-management consultancy and resolve second-line support incidents within agreed service levels.
- Maintain service-support knowledge articles, templates, standards and processes, keeping pace with Microsoft updates and future capability roadmaps.
- Lead the development, maturity and capability of our content communities through learning pathways, training, guidance, events and engaging communications.
- Build effective relationships with technical teams, internal communications, learning specialists, suppliers and colleagues across the business.
- Champion safe working, continuous improvement and high standards of compliance.
What we're looking for
- Microsoft 365 SharePoint Administration certification.
- Extensive professional experience managing intranets, processes and content taxonomies.
- Expert knowledge of SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft 365 Groups and relevant security and compliance administration.
- Experience of SharePoint administration using ShareGate.
- Experience using web, search, user-journey and OneDrive analytics to measure performance and guide improvements.
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms and SharePoint Lists.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly at all organisational levels.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with experience managing several workstreams and stakeholder expectations at once.
- The credibility and influencing skills to embed content applications into business-as-usual activity.
- A learning mindset and the drive to stay current with Microsoft 365, advanced search and discovery, and content-related artificial intelligence capabilities.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Syntex, Viva Engage, SharePoint and Copilot agents, including how these applications connect across Microsoft 365.
- Experience creating and applying PowerShell scripts.
- Experience managing contractors or delivery partners.
- A strong understanding of stakeholder and client management.
