Position Summary
The Senior Software Development Engineer will lead the design, delivery, and execution of strategic technology initiatives supporting the HCB SAP S/4 transformation program. This role is responsible for managing a team of engineers, solution architects, and vendor partners to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality integration, data, and application solutions across SAP S/4 and enterprise platforms.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership, program delivery experience, and expertise in large-scale ERP transformation initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, and external partners to ensure successful delivery of project objectives while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Focus Areas for HCB S/4 Project
- SAP S/4HANA implementation and integration delivery.
- Enterprise data migration and reconciliation.
- Financial systems modernization.
- SAP and non-SAP application integration.
- Architecture governance and solution design.
- Vendor and cross-functional team leadership.
- Program execution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, systems integration, or enterprise technology delivery.
- Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation or ERP implementation programs.
- Strong understanding of system integration patterns, APIs, middleware platforms, and cloud-based architectures.
- Experience managing end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes using Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex, cross-functional technology programs on time and within budget.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Experience working with third-party vendors, consultants, and offshore delivery teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or modernization programs.
- Knowledge of SAP integration technologies, including SAP BTP, SAP CPI, DataSphere, and related SAP ecosystem tools.
- Experience in finance, healthcare, insurance, or regulated industry environments.
- Familiarity with Oracle financial systems, enterprise data platforms, and large-scale data migration initiatives.
- Experience driving organizational change management and technology adoption initiatives.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and audit requirements.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
