Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – Computed Tomography (CT)
VA Portland Health Care System | Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA / Salem, OR | Potential Opportunity
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for an experienced CT Technologist to provide advanced diagnostic imaging services supporting Veterans through the VA Portland Health Care System.
Position Highlights
- On-site VA healthcare setting
- Portland, Vancouver, and Salem locations
- 8-, 9-, or 10-hour shifts may be scheduled
- Rotating weekends/holidays may be required
- Occasional overtime may be required
- Advanced CT and diagnostic imaging environment
Requirements
- 2 years of CT experience
- Strong knowledge of advanced CT applications
- Experience with CT, general diagnostic imaging, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging
- Competency with venipuncture and IV contrast administration
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, and CT dose optimization
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced CT examinations
- Perform CT angiography and 3D reconstructions
- Prepare and administer contrast as authorized
- Assist with interventional CT procedures
- Maintain image quality, radiation safety, and accurate PACS documentation
