As the Transportation Supervisor, you set the pace for service and maintenance with safety at the forefront. This role isn't just about keeping vehicles running – it's about guiding a team of drivers to deliver warm, reliable, and memorable experiences every time a guest steps aboard. By supporting day to day operations, working with your team, and ensuring every ride reflects our commitment to service, you play a key role in creating smooth journeys that start and end each guest's visit.
What you bring to the table
- Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
- Prepares all weekly and monthly reports in accordance with required quality and established deadlines.
- Enforces company and department Polices and Procedures and creates / amends as needed via the Director of Security.
- Investigates shuttle incidents and accidents. Works with human resources to coordinate claims of theft or damage.
- Create and review employee schedules to ensure proper coverage and efficiency.
- Provides or arranges for defensive driving training and other pertinent safety training annually for transportation team.
- Addresses safety concerns pro-actively.
- Creates, manages & implements guest service protocols for drivers to promote KKC's Guest Service program.
- Resolves all guest concerns, complaints or suggestions in a continuous effort to provide superior guest service.
- Support the Director of Security and Transportation with hiring, training, and employee evaluations.
- Responsible for preparing for and participating in the department's training programs, new hire orientations, management meetings, and other projects or committees as assigned.
- Manages the preventative maintenance program for all Company vehicles; assures that all Company vehicles scheduled for use are clean and ready for use.
- Supports the Director of Security and Transportation in the annual department budget process as needed.
- Collaborates with Security Admin Assistant on various administrative duties as needed.
- Works with internal departments to ensure flow of information for upcoming events and ensures staffing is in place for business fluctuations due to events and peak periods.
- Acquires tools and material for daily operations using company purchase requisition software
- Manages & oversees Shuttle Service for on-site employee and guest pick-ups.
- Oversees Fun Bus program and local shuttle pick-up points following marketing's strategy.
- Manages part number database and part images for all vehicles in Transportation department fleet.
- Tracks & manages database for vehicle cost history on a monthly basis.
- Communicates with appropriate departments to ensure payment is collected on any paid shuttle service.
- Project management of any amenities or additions to shuttles.
- Manages and performs any minor repairs to shuttles that can be done on site.
- Being an essential point of contact for daily oversight & communication of digital scheduling program for all shuttle busses and company vehicles.
- Main contact for requests for executive vehicles.
- Coordinating and assisting with our Medford property as needed.
- Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)

- Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.
- Working knowledge of applicable employment regulations required.
- Minimum of two years' prior supervisory experience required.
- Must have at least three years of vehicle maintenance experience or applicable experience or knowledge with vehicles & maintenance.
- Experience driving various vehicles including manual and automatic transmission required.
- Must have a valid Oregon driver's license with an acceptable record and be insurable by Ko-Kwel Casino Resort's insurance program.
- Excellent guest service skills to include the ability to effectively address guest concerns with tact and diplomacy required.
- Computer skills required with proficient use of MS Office products.
- Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.
- Must pass and remain in compliance with any drug testing practices as a matter of safety; this includes testing negative for cannabis/THC.
