This opportunity is offered on a FIFO, 2 weeks on /2 weeks off roster through to the end of 2027.
This is a hands-on role for a safety professional who enjoys being in the field, building trusted relationships and turning standards into practical action. You will work with employees, contractors and leaders to strengthen critical controls, capability and safety culture.

- Lead or support incident investigations, share learning and drive actions to verified closure.
- Simplify and embed fit-for-purpose Health and Safety systems for the future Closure Legacy operating model.
- Speak up, stop work and escalate when risks or control failures are unacceptable.
About you
You are a practical, confident safety professional who can work independently in a small, remote team.
You will bring:
- A degree in Health and Safety or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least five years’ Health and Safety experience in resources, construction, projects or operations.
- Working knowledge of Western Australian work health and safety legislation.
- Strong communication, collaboration and judgement, with the confidence to speak up.
Experience in the following will be highly regarded:
- Incident investigation and critical control or fatality prevention programs.
- Contractor safety management and safety leadership coaching.
- Remote site work and operating self-sufficiently in a small team.
We recognise that many talented people bring transferable skills and diverse experience. If you are excited about this opportunity but don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
