Job Description:
Our Business
The APAC Trade Product Analyst supports the management, governance, and monitoring of Core Trade products across Asia Pacific, including Commercial and Standby Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantees, Trade Loans, and Working Capital Solutions. The role partners closely with Product Managers across APAC markets to support portfolio performance, forecasting, strategic initiatives, regulatory assessments, and asset projections reporting. The individual acts as a key coordinator across Product, Sales, Finance, Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to support business growth, risk management, and product governance.
Responsibilities:
- Support Product Managers across APAC in monitoring product performance, portfolio trends, and business growth initiatives.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes, including revenue, balance sheet, and asset projections across Trade products.
- Partner with country Product Managers, Finance, and Sales teams to prepare forecasts, business outlooks, and management presentations.
- Coordinate asset-level projection exercises and balance sheet planning across APAC markets to support strategic planning and management reporting.
- Prepare portfolio dashboards, management reports, and performance analytics to provide insights on revenue, asset growth, utilization, and client activity.
- Support APAC regulatory monitoring and Local Regulatory Requirement assessments by reviewing new regulations, coordinating stakeholder feedback, and assessing potential impacts to Trade products, processes, and controls.
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to support regulatory implementation, governance reviews, and risk mitigation activities.
- Support product governance initiatives including product reviews, policy updates, risk assessments, audit requests, and control enhancement activities.
- Coordinate regional strategic initiatives, product enhancements, benchmark transition programs, system readiness activities, and business change projects.
- Support preparation of management materials, executive updates, Executive Committee presentations, and business performance reporting.
- Drive continuous process improvement through data analysis, automation opportunities, and reporting enhancements.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of Trade Finance products, including Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, Guarantees, Trade Loans, and Working Capital Solutions.
- Experience supporting product management activities, business performance monitoring, forecasting, and portfolio analysis.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience in forecasting, balance sheet management, and performance reporting.
- Knowledge of regulatory governance, risk management, and control frameworks affecting Trade products.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across Product, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Sales, and Technology teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders across different APAC markets.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
