CDL-A Excavator & Heavy Equipment Operator – Candor, NC
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Starting Pay: $26.00/hour; higher depending on experience
Position Summary
We are hiring a CDL-A Heavy Equipment Operator with strong excavator or construction equipment experience to support specialized recovery and field operations. This role is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on equipment work, understands jobsite safety, and can respond quickly when urgent assignments arise.
Driving is only one part of the job. You will spend significant time operating machinery, preparing equipment, assisting field crews, and maintaining operational readiness.

40 hours guaranteed per week.Average of 60 or more hours per week, with significant overtime opportunities.On-call availability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.Time-and-a-half for hours outside Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m., under the stated pay arrangement.Per diem, hotel reimbursement, and layover pay for qualifying travel assignments.Full-time direct-hire opportunity with company benefits and applicable travel compensation.
