Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join a state-of-the-art, purpose-built neurological rehabilitation centre in Glasgow. This specialist service supports adults with acquired brain injuries and complex neurological conditions, providing high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation within a multidisciplinary team environment.

This role is ideal for an experienced therapist looking to develop their clinical expertise in neurorehabilitation. You will work autonomously while collaborating closely with a wider team, playing a key role in supporting individuals to improve their communication and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Work as an autonomous Speech and Language Therapist within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Assess how a person’s communication difficulties impact their daily life and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Develop and deliver personalised management and rehabilitation plans.
  • Work collaboratively with service users and their social networks to overcome communication barriers.
  • Provide training and support to staff and the individual’s wider support network.
  • Contribute to service development and continuous improvement within the organisation.

  • HCPC registration and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Experience working with adults with neurological conditions and/or acquired brain injuries (Band 6/7 level).
  • Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
