Description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production, delivery, and service schedules
• Portions and plates food to standard, ensuring correct temperature, taste, and presentation; tastes all prepared items
• Follows established ticket-collection procedures during service and maintains accurate records for the area worked
• Cleans the kitchen after preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the shift
• Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean, neat, and organized per standards
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
• Assists with production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required
• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, guests, and managers
• Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
• Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment with changing priorities
• Strong attention to food safety, sanitation, and presentation standards
• Ability to work well with coworkers, guests, and manager
• Reliable and professional, with flexibility to work full-time or part-time shifts

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed
• Repeating the same movements throughout the shift
• Bending or twisting the body, and kneeling, stooping, crouching, or crawling as needed
• Using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs. (equipment, chemicals, tools, etc.)
