[PUB-WSD] Sr Engineer/Asst Director (Planning)

[What the role is]

As a Senior Engineer/Assistant Director (Planning) in the Water Systems Department, Planning & Capability Development Division, you will be part of a team to lead the development of engineering models to plan and guide the design and construction of systems to enhance integrated water resource management and undertake related R&D projects.

[What you will be working on]

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following areas:

• Ensure timely delivery of key milestones, prepare reports and present recommendations to management.

• Undertake long-term planning efforts and collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful execution of project

• Engage external government agencies and stakeholders to facilitate project implementation

• Support documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Any other duties as assigned.

[What we are looking for]

• Degree in Civil/ Environmental Engineering /Geology/Geophysics or related fields

• Possess strong analytical thinking, planning and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS applications and/ or data visualisation tools

• Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Able to work independently and a good team player

• Self-motivated, adaptable and possess strong sense of responsibility
