Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
