Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Weekend Facilities Maintenance to join the El Paso, TX team!
The hourly rate for this position is $23.92 per hour, with 40 hours of pay for a 36-hour workweek! This position is also eligible for a variable incentive plan.
Shift: 6:00am-6:45pm, Friday-Sunday

## Position Overview:
The Maintenance and Facilities Technician will support the Manufacturing, OPEX and EHS departments by helping to drive continuous improvement in the electrical assembly operations. This achieved by maintaining the facility and production equipment on its best working condition, completing PMs and minimizing downtime. The position will support operations, and capital assets (equipment, machinery, building, etc.).

In this function you will:
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment, including but not limited to evaporative coolers, dock doors, workstations, fans, motors, furniture, gates, doors, pumps, racks, AHU’s, HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams such as electrical, hydraulic schematics.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair equipment using a systematic process to identify root cause (electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC).
- Mechanical and general facilities repairs, painting, carpentry, dry wall repairs, plumbing, HVAC, welding, roofing, landscape irrigation, toilets, sinks, and furniture.
- Support daily plant operations through effective troubleshooting and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, and Control system adhering to all policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Maximize equipment reliability by effectively performing assigned work orders and PMs. Ensure complete and effective repairs. Proactively initiate work orders based on PM observations.
- Complete work on Continuous Improvement activities related to the facility as needed (5S+, TPM, Set Up Reduction, etc.)
- Supervise outside contractors on various plant projects and repairs.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
- Complete/maintain maintenance logs and associated documentation.
## Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenance or similar environment.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the electrical field with voltages from 24V to 480V.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred:
- Technical degree or certification in either electronics, electrical power and controls, fluid power, HVAC or basic PLC programming
- Journeymen or 3 or more years of documented maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade
- Licensed HVAC Technician, Plumber, and/or Electrician
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
## Position Criteria:
- Strong safety focus with knowledge of fall protection, permitting, electrical safety, arc flash, lockout/tagout, and preferably OSHA requirements.
- Advanced hydraulic/pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, or EMS troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, parts breakdowns, and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Familiarity with DC and AC power up to three-phase 480V.
- Prior commercial or industrial building trades experience.
- Ability to operate equipment, machinery, computers, Windows applications, industrial software, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, organization, presentation, facilitation, problem-solving, teamwork, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multitasking, unstructured, and ambiguous environment.
- Ability to work effectively across the plant, develop employees, and facilitate corrective action.
- Basic English and Spanish reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Knowledge of Eaton policies and standards, including MESH and EQMS.
