The Business Solutions Manager will turn complex business needs into practical technology solutions that modernize how Veralto’s global Procurement and Supply Chain teams operate. This highly visible, hands-on role puts you at the center of our modernization of our systems framework to a scalable, AI-centered environment. You will shape data models, analytics, integrations, and automation that power financial and operational decisions across corporate teams and operating companies.
You’ll work side by side with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and operating-company leaders—from discovery through adoption. You’ll ask the right questions, uncover the process behind the request, architect the solution, and help teams put it to work. Your impact will be tangible: trusted dashboards, streamlined data flows, better documentation, and smarter decisions. If you enjoy bringing order to ambiguity and building the future rather than simply maintaining the past, this is an opportunity to make your mark.
This position is part of the Corporate Procurement & Supply Chain team in Waltham, MA and will be hybrid.
In this role, you will:
- Translate ambiguous business challenges into clear requirements, scalable technical designs, and solutions that teams can use and sustain.
- Build and maintain Snowflake data models, ingestion pipelines, and presentation-ready datasets that create a trusted foundation for Procurement and Supply Chain analytics.
- Design executive dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI that surface performance, risks, trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop SQL queries, administer SQL Server environments, and use Python and APIs to automate data movement, improve quality, and reduce manual work.
- Explore and deploy practical AI agents within Snowflake to answer stakeholder questions, flag exceptions, and accelerate routine analysis.
- Modernize legacy systems and undocumented code while protecting business continuity and creating clearer, more scalable standards.
- Lead solutions through testing, documentation, training, launch, and adoption—partnering closely with corporate and operating-company stakeholders.
- Coordinate with IT and vendor partners on integrations, upgrades, access, issue resolution, and platform performance.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience delivering business systems, data, analytics, or technology solutions, ideally within Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or another process-driven function.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining Snowflake data models, views, ingestion processes, or pipelines for business-facing analytics.
- Strong SQL capability and practical SQL Server administration experience.
- Working experience with Python, API integrations, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Demonstrated success turning loosely defined stakeholder needs into production-ready solutions, from discovery and design through launch and adoption.
- Experience improving legacy systems, undocumented code, fragmented data, or immature processes while maintaining service continuity.
Relevant Certifications
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, CompTIA A+ or equivalent systems administration credential, Python Institute PCEP or PCAP, APICS CSCP or CPIM, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or AWS Cloud Practitioner
It would be a plus if you also have:
- Experience supporting procurement, supply chain, finance, or similar process-driven teams and familiarity with sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, planning, or logistics data.
- Exposure to Azure and enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or Ariba.
- Practical experience building or deploying AI agents within Snowflake or a comparable enterprise data environment.
- Advanced Snowflake capabilities such as Snowpark, Streams and Tasks, Cortex, or performance and cost optimization.
