Job Description

Just imagine shaping the planning foundations that help LEGO® DESiGN deliver today’s product portfolio while preparing for future growth. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Capacity & Capability Manager, you'll secure feasible capacity planning and workflows across selected LEGO DESiGN functions and capability groups. You'll support long-term resource planning while managing short-term capacity and delivery feasibility. You'll help create and maintain the foundation for LEGO DESiGN teams to level workloads, plan tasks and make informed decisions using reliable performance data.

Please note: This position is based in Billund, Denmark. Our flexible working model, “Best of Both” allows employees to work 3 days/week in-office and 2 days/week from home.

Required Qualifications

  • Delivered capacity, demand or portfolio planning within a large matrix organization.
  • Created data analysis and visual presentations that supported clear decisions.
  • Applied strong process and end-to-end value chain experience to improve business results.
  • Used planning methods ranging from traditional waterfall approaches to agile delivery.
  • Managed stakeholders across different organizational levels and competing priorities.
  • Solved complex planning or delivery challenges through structured problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Worked with task management systems, SAP, Power BI, Power Apps or Excel.
  • Executed planning activities within a scrum setup.
  • Led projects or planning across large pipelines, supply chains, product development or design environments.
  • Supported change management where stakeholders had different priorities.

What you'll build

  • A clear capacity, capability and delivery planning approach for selected design functions and capability groups.
  • Reliable capacity and demand key-figure data based on actual performance, learning and efficiency gains.
  • Practical task-planning foundations using workflow and task management tools.
  • In collaboration with Design Performance and partner teams, build useful data visualizations that support planning, decision-making and governance and strengthen foundation for data discipline.
  • Improved processes and tools in collaboration with Design performance and Design teams.
  • Stronger foundations for immediate portfolio delivery and future capability planning.

If you've worked in a role where you connected data, processes and people across a matrix organization, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to balance delivery with transformation while keeping the full value chain in view.

Life on the team

You'll join Design Delivery, a four-person team within Operational Excellence, LEGO DESiGN. We're based together in Billund and usually work from home one or two days each week. You'll own planning responsibilities for selected design functions while contributing to shared team priorities. We value open communication, practical problem-solving, curiosity and a collaborative mindset. Trust matters, and we're committed to learning from different perspectives as we build new ways of working.

What success looks like

You'll establish trusted working relationships with capacity owners and planning teams, then adapt Design Delivery practices to their needs. Over the next 12 to 18 months, you'll help strengthen a newly centralized planning setup across LEGO DESiGN. You'll work closely with Design Delivery, design leaders, people managers, scrum masters, design leads, performance teams, portfolio management and planning partners.
