SEO Expert (On-site, Full-Time)

Softwix Limited is a digital marketing and web development agency based in Mirpur, Dhaka, working with businesses in Bangladesh, the UK, Europe and the USA since 2017. We help eCommerce stores, SaaS companies and service businesses grow their organic traffic, rankings and revenue through practical, data-driven SEO.

We are hiring an SEO Expert to join our team on-site in Dhaka. You will work on real client and in-house websites, own SEO projects from audit to results, and work closely with our content and development teams.

Job Summary

• Position: SEO Expert
• Job type: Full-time, on-site (desk job)
• Experience: 1–2 years of proven SEO experience
• Salary: 20,000–30,000 BDT per month (negotiable for highly experienced candidates)
• Office hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Location: Rupnagar, Mirpur, Dhaka 1216

Job Responsibilities

• Run SEO audits and turn the findings into a clear, prioritised action plan.
• Do keyword research and map keywords to pages based on search intent.
• Handle on-page SEO: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking and content optimisation.
• Fix technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, indexing problems, page speed, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps and structured data.
• Plan and run white-hat link building, including outreach, guest posts and digital PR.
• Analyse competitors and find ranking and content opportunities.
• Write content briefs and work with writers to produce content that ranks.
• Optimise WordPress and WooCommerce websites for search.
• Support local SEO work, including Google Business Profile optimisation.
• Track rankings, traffic and conversions, and prepare clear monthly reports.
• Keep up with Google algorithm updates and AI search changes such as AI Overviews.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of proven SEO experience, with websites or projects you can show us.
• Good knowledge of on-page, off-page and technical SEO.
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.
• Experience with at least one SEO tool such as Ahrefs, Semrush or Screaming Frog.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and an SEO plugin such as Rank Math or Yoast.
• Good written English for content briefs, outreach emails and reports.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and the ability to manage several projects at once.
• Willingness to work on-site at our Mirpur office.

• Schema markup and structured data
• Basic HTML and CSS
• Experience optimising content for AI search and answer engines
