Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator (Full time)

Gillfor Distribution has an opening for a full-time Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate at our London location. As part of our Lumber Yard team at our London Distribution Centre, you will work in a team environment reporting directly to our Yard Supervisor. This is a 6 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Monday to Friday role.Expectations: Accurate and efficient order picking and packingMaterial handling and inventory managementAssist in loading orders onto customer trucks Inventory cycle counts and spot checksAssist in keeping a tidy and organized lumber yardCompliance to all work safety rules and regulations Politeness to customers and truck drivers who are picking up or dropping off ordersIdeal Attributes:Strong team work and time management is requiredHigh School DiplomaForklift experience in an outdoor setting an assetAbility to lift up to 80 pounds if necessary Knowledge of the building materials industry is an asset  Able to work in outdoor conditions Flexibility with start and finish times Reliable and punctualSelf-Motivated and able to work without supervisionGillfor Distribution is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
