Survey Party Chief

OVERVIEW

Archer Western is currently seeking a Party Chief for the TSENC, 225175 NC197 PDB, in Burnsville, NC.

The Party Chief's Primary function to supervise members of the survey crew and perform topography surveys, field layout, and coordinate with jobsite survey manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee field surveying tasks such as topography, field layout, boundary layout, and data collection
• Ability to coordinate with survey manager, that may be offsite, and with project management staff for daily operations
• Provide care to survey equipment and understand usage of data collection equipment and upgrades to technology
• May be required to work as a one-person crew; May perform other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

RESPONSABILIDADES

Las responsabilidades incluyen pero no se limitan a:

• Supervisar tareas de topografía de campo, tales como topografía, disposición de campo, disposición de límites y recopilación de datos
• Capacidad para coordinar con el administrador de la encuesta, que puede estar fuera del sitio, y con el personal de gestión del proyecto para las operaciones diarias
• Brinde atención para inspeccionar el equipo y comprender el uso del equipo de recolección de datos y las actualizaciones a la tecnología
• Puede ser requerido para trabajar como un equipo de una persona; Puede realizar otras tareas relacionadas según sea necesario

CALIFICACIONES

• 3-5 años de experiencia verificable preferido
• Debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras; puede ser requerido para trabajar en varias condiciones climáticas
• Requiere la capacidad de cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad; comunicarse efectivamente con compañeros de trabajo y supervisores para asegurar que los proyectos se completen adecuadamente
