The Role

Based in Invercargill and reporting to the Branch Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to play a key role in the success of our branch.

As the Senior Branch Supervisor, you will support the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations of the branch by leading the team, driving sales performance, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring operational excellence. You'll work with some of the most recognised and trusted brands in New Zealand's transport industry while helping build on TWL's strong reputation for service and expertise.

This role will fit you well if you have considerable industry experience, a passion for people & building their capability, and the energy to build on the excellent reputation of the TWL brand.

While this role requires someone with previous leadership experience to make day-to-day calls, it also provides a fantastic opportunity for you to further develop your leadership skills and career prospects.

Your skills to be successful:

• Proven success in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the transport, automotive or heavy vehicle industry.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, coaching and people leadership skills.
• A customer-first mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work collaboratively.
• A strong commitment to Health and Safety.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Your responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the branch.
• Oversee branch administration, including credits, warranty processing and invoice reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate inventory management through effective bin location control and timely cycle counts.
• Process customer enquiries and orders efficiently while meeting service standards and delivery expectations.
• Assist in achieving or exceeding branch sales, revenue and gross margin targets.
• Promote a positive team culture and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the wider business.
