Title: RPA SW Engineer

Location:  Belgrade, Serbia

Grade: 10

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

• Analyzes business processes and identifies RPA opportunities
• Actively participates in the engineering community, staying up to date on new software technologies and best practices and shares insights with others in the organization
• Actively works with other software engineers providing technical guidance and oversight
• Analyzes RPA solutions based on customer requirements and suggests the best solution
• Handles end-to-end development, including coding, testing, and debugging during each cycle
• Creates and maintains solution documentation, both for end-users and internal reference
• Supports automated solutions: responds to user help requests, troubleshoots issues, conducts root cause analysis, and enhances tools to avoid future issues
• Works and develops solutions in UiPath and other automation frameworks
• Develops software solutions using the major programming languages (ex. Java, JavaScript, C# and similar)
• Designs, develops, tests, and deploys automated solutions and automated decision analytics to replace manual business processes, leveraging internal and external technology as needed
• Creates or configures new technology rules and technology-enabled processes as needed to meet business needs or strategies
• Engineering part of “RPA as a Service” towards external customers

Basic Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in architecture (technical, IT and enterprise)
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience
• Complex matrix organization experience
• Understanding of the best practices from a technology perspective and in the context of NCR’s product, solution, and service portfolio
• Data architecture knowledge (e.g. transactional and analytical processing, real-time analytics, etc.)
• Experience with designing and implementing multi-tenant SaaS systems
• Experience with on premise computing and enterprise data center technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Experience in the Banking Industry supporting Banking customers is highly preferred
• Experience in Robotic Process Automation
• Experience designing and implementing Micro-service architecture
• Experience articulating NFRs and architecting the solution to meet them in conjunction with business/product and engineering teams
• Experience with Cloud providers GCP and/or Azure Excellent understanding of latest technologies (PaaS, Big Data Analytics, API platforms), continuous improvement of scaled processes and best practices
• Polyglot programming experience Applied Data Science for AI enabled capabilities (ML/DL)
• Able to wear multiple hats navigating freely between business, technical, execution, operations, etc.
• Knowledgeable in: RPA architecture, data architecture, analytics, software/application architecture
• Passionate: enjoys design and collaboration
• Pragmatic: able to effectively manage the cost of business
• Able to produce and communicate complex solutions to a wide variety of audiences
• Stays up to date on the latest technologies
