Role Purpose
We're looking for a strategic employee listening leader to define and evolve how LSEG understands employee experience.
This role will be responsible for shaping our employee listening strategy, leading key programmes such as engagement surveys, & qualitative listening and ensuring employee feedback translates into meaningful action. They will help us move beyond measuring employee sentiment to understanding what drives it and what leaders need to do differently as a result.
Working closely with People Insights, people partners (BPPs/Country) and senior stakeholders across the business, they will build a trusted, evidence-based approach to employee listening that balances employee voice, business priorities and measurable impact.
What you'll do
Define and evolve our employee listening strategy
- Evolve and lead a clear employee listening strategy aligned to LSEG's people and business priorities.
Ensure listening activities deliver meaningful insight while avoiding unnecessary survey fatigue.
Bring external thinking and best practice on employee experience and listening into the organisation.
Find opportunities to modernise how we listen to employees, including new technologies, AI-enabled capabilities and emerging approaches.
Lead enterprise listening programmes
Own the strategy and delivery of enterprise listening activities, including engagement surveys and targeted listening exercises.
Ensure surveys and feedback mechanisms are purposeful, well-designed and generate actionable insight.
Establish governance, standards and guidelines for listening across the organisation.
Manage relationships with listening platform providers and external partners.
Turn employee voice into business insight
Translate employee feedback into clear, compelling insights for leaders.
Identify key themes, risks and opportunities impacting employee experience and organisational effectiveness.
Partner with People Insights and Data Science teams to connect listening data with broader workforce trends where relevant.
Create executive-ready narratives that help leaders focus on what matters most.
Drive action and impact
Help leaders move from insight to action.
Design practical approaches to action planning and follow-through.
Measure the impact of actions taken and continuously improve our listening approach based on outcomes.
Build confidence across the organisation that employee feedback is being heard and acted upon.
Build capability and influence leaders
Act as LSEG's subject matter expert on employee listening and employee experience measurement.
- Coach People Function teams and leaders on interpreting and using employee feedback effectively.
Influence senior stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and clear storytelling.
Represent Employee Listening within the wider People Insights strategy.
Skills and Experience
Essential
Significant experience leading employee listening, employee experience, engagement or people insights programmes in a complex organisation.
Experience designing and delivering large-scale employee surveys and listening initiatives.
Strong ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leaders.
Strong understanding of employee engagement, organisational culture and employee experience.
Ability to balance analytical rigour with practical business decision-making.
Preferred / Advantageous
Experience working with platforms such as Glint, Qualtrics, Perceptyx, Culture Amp or similar.
Experience connecting employee listening data with broader workforce analytics.
Knowledge of survey methodology, organisational psychology or behavioural science.
Experience using AI and advanced analytics to support employee listening and insight generation.
Experience operating in a large global organisation.
Experience preparing insights for Executive Committee or Board-level discussions.
