As part of its continued business expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Lead/ Manager to join its Regional Finance team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, general accounting, fixed assets management, budgeting, and team leadership while working closely with stakeholders across different countries.
Key Responsibilities
As the Financial Reporting Lead/ Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting while overseeing accounting operations and supporting regional finance activities.
1. Financial Reporting & General Accounting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, trial balances, management schedules, and financial statement analysis.
- Support group consolidation reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies.
2. Fixed Assets Management
- Oversee the fixed asset lifecycle, including asset capitalization, transfers, disposals, depreciation, and physical asset verification.
- Manage Right-of-Use (ROU) assets and lease accounting.
- Monitor capital expenditure against approved budgets and generate fixed asset reports.
3. Planning & Management Accounting
- Support cost accounting, project costing, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Prepare forecasting templates and maintain financial planning data.
- Manage provisions including inventory obsolescence, warranty, doubtful debts, and other accounting estimates.
4. Audit & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key finance contact for both internal and external auditors.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams and business stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and controls.
5. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a finance team, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development.
- Allocate workload, review outputs, and support team performance.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of Financial Reporting or General Ledger experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Fluent in English
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end close, and management accounting processes.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP FICO, as well as reporting tools including Oracle Hyperion and BlackLine, is highly advantageous.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Comfortable collaborating with regional/global teams across different time zones.
