The Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Strategy and Risk Operations Coordinator for a 2 Year Fixed Term Contract, to provide high-quality coordination and business support to the Technology Strategy, Risk and Performance section. This is a great opportunity for an organised, proactive and detail-oriented professional who enjoys helping a team stay connected, well prepared and on track. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the section through meeting coordination, preparation of papers and presentations, action tracking, reporting support and general business administration.

About the Role
As Strategy and Risk Operations Coordinator, you will provide trusted coordination and business support across the Technology Strategy, Risk and Performance section. Working closely with leaders and team members, you will help the section run smoothly by coordinating meetings and diaries, preparing high-quality papers and presentations, tracking actions and follow-ups, supporting reporting and governance processes, and assisting with team administration and logistics. This role would suit someone who is highly organised, exercises sound judgement, and enjoys working behind the scenes to help others succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day coordination and business support for the Technology Strategy, Risk and Performance section.
Coordinate meetings, calendars, logistics and documentation for team activities, forums and leadership engagements.
Prepare, format and collate papers, presentations, reports, agendas and briefing materials to a high standard.
Support project coordination across section priorities, including tracking milestones, coordinating inputs, monitoring deliverables and following up on actions.
Support governance and reporting processes, including maintaining records, registers and team documentation.
Assist with onboarding, team administration and other operational activities that help the section run effectively.
Build positive working relationships across the business to gather information, coordinate inputs and support effective communication.
Maintain shared documents, templates and records to support consistent and efficient ways of working.
Identify opportunities to improve coordination, administration and team support practices.
What You’ll Bring
Experience in an administrative, team coordination, project coordination, business support, executive support or similar role.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently on routine tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate and professional documentation and correspondence.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work methodically across a range of tasks while maintaining high-quality outputs.
A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated judgement, initiative and a proactive approach to managing day-to-day coordination and support activities.
Experience supporting projects or team priorities through action tracking, coordination of inputs and monitoring of deliverables would be well regarded.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with CoPilot, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and basic Power BI would be well regarded.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism and sound judgement.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent practical experience would be well regarded.
