Job Description:

The Accountant is responsible for processing and reconciling incoming invoices, managing cash and bank documents, and resolving discrepancies in data. It requires communication with suppliers and clients via email and phone, regular reporting to supervisors, collaboration with other departments, and handling ad hoc tasks as directed.

Education & Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Suitable for recent graduates or candidates at the beginning of their accounting career.
• Previous internship or experience in an accounting or finance department is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Support the recording and processing of accounting transactions in compliance with Romanian accounting regulations and internal procedures.
• Review, register, and process supplier and customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation.
• Organize, verify, and archive accounting documents, including invoices, receipts, expense reports, contracts, and bank statements.

Reconciliations & Reporting

• Assist with bank, supplier, and account reconciliations, identifying and escalating discrepancies when required.
• Support month-end closing activities and the preparation of financial reports by collecting and verifying accounting data.
• Assist in reviewing employee expense claims and related documentation.

Compliance & Audit Support

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting and tax requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing and organizing requested documentation.
• Stay informed about relevant accounting and tax developments and participate in training activities.
