Location: Bangalore.
Business & Team: Chief Operating Officer - India Automation.
Impact & contribution: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager – Automation to lead the design, development, and scaling of enterprise automation and intelligent workflow solutions. The role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate), strong hands-on experience in building AI agents and AI-driven workflows, and the ability to manage and derive insights from large-scale data using SQL.
The ideal candidate will also bring strong APEX development knowledge and a proven track record of leading teams, driving automation strategy, and delivering measurable business outcomes at scale.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Automation & Platform Leadership
Lead end-to-end automation strategy, architecture, and execution across business functions.
Design, develop, and govern solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft ecosystem tools.
Establish best practices, standards, and reusable components for enterprise automation.
AI Agents & Intelligent Workflows
Design and implement AI-powered agents and workflows to automate decision-making, process optimization, and operational intelligence.
Collaborate with data science, engineering, and business teams to integrate AI capabilities into automation pipelines.
Stay current with emerging AI agent frameworks, orchestration patterns, and automation trends.
Data & Analytics
Manage and optimize large datasets using SQL, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity.
Enable automation solutions that are data-driven, leveraging structured and semi-structured data sources.
Partner with analytics teams to surface insights and improve automation effectiveness.
Application Development (APEX)
Provide hands-on guidance and architectural oversight for APEX-based applications and integrations.
Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable application development practices.
People & Stakeholder Management
Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing automation and engineering teams.
Engage with senior stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Manage vendors, partners, and cross-functional teams as required.
Governance & Risk
Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data privacy, and governance standards.
Define KPIs and success metrics to track automation ROI and operational impact.
Essential Skills:
Technical Expertise
15+ years of overall IT / technology experience, with significant focus on automation and workflow platforms.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Microsoft Power Apps
Power Automate
Proven experience designing and implementing AI agents and AI-driven workflows.
Strong proficiency in SQL, including managing and optimizing large-scale datasets.
Solid working knowledge of APEX development.
Experience integrating automation platforms with enterprise systems and APIs.
Leadership & Delivery
Demonstrated experience leading large, complex automation programs.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level engagement.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent curriculum.
Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification (preferred)
Certification on recent AI Tools will be an added advantage
