Database Administrator and Initiative Lead - 6 Month Contract
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Microsoft SQL Server certifications preferred (e.g., MCSA, MCSE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessment and design for high availability and redundancy within the SQL Server environment.
- Automate critical database maintenance operations including indexing, patching, and backups.
- Identify applications causing strain on the database and recommend architectural redesigns.
- Audit and remediate direct external access to production databases.
- Work with development, architecture, and security teams to ensure compliance and performance.
